The Italian-German energy service provider reinforces the SEDC as Executive Member

Innowatio has announced today that it is joining the Smart Energy Demand Coalition and has taken a seat on the association’s Board. The Innowatio group offers its clients state-of-the-art services for an integrated management of their energy issues along the entire value chain. The services include energy efficiency, portfolio management and green power supply, direct marketing of power from renewable energy resources and flexible management of distributed power plants, consumers, storages and power-to-x technologies. A cloud based information technology enables Innowatio to manage and monetise flexibilities in real-time and to optimize the energy costs and the consumption of their customers comprehensively.

“Innowatio joins the SEDC at a crucial time for European energy policy. With their holistic approach to energy management, Innowatio’s first-hand market experience will be an important addition to the SEDC’s engagement for a smart energy system,” said Frauke Thies, Executive Director of the SEDC.

Fabio Leoncini, CEO of Innowatio, emphasised: “The merger between Innowatio from Italy and CLENS from Germany is a groundbreaking step to a common European energy system. We are looking forward to our pan-European development and we are pleased to go this way as a member of the SEDC. We profit from the excellent political work of the SEDC in Brussels and with our pooled expertise we hope to contribute to a strong participation of the demand side in the European electricity markets.”
